Amazon Kindle reader released for the iPhone
The newly announced Amamzon Kindle 2 has recently been released. Indications reveal that the device is an excellent upgrade to the original Kindle. In conjunction with the release, the Amazon Kindle application has been released in the App Store.
Whilst by no means a replacement for the Kindle itself, the application provides a means to read you ebooks on your iPhone.
The Kindle application for the iPhone text is legible and the reading experience is generally good. A swipe of your finger takes you to the next page. It provides a means to synchronize your already purchased ebooks to your iPhone, but does not offer a means to access the store to purchase new ebooks. While nothing revolutionary, the application does what its supposed to do and offers an alternative method to read your ebooks on the go.
